Known for her clean and elegant designs, Susan creatively mixes periods and styles with unexpected features that reflect the personalities of her clients and the environments in which they live. She works closely with architects, builders and artisans to create tailor-made custom spaces. This approach has built Susan a roster of long term clients, many of whom have come back to her for help with renovations, expansions and second homes.

Prior to opening her firm over fifteen years ago, Susan worked in advertising and marketing in Manhattan. She began her career in Washington, D.C.  in the Administration of President George H. W. Bush and earned an MBA from Georgetown University.

She and her husband have two daughters, two dogs and split their time between New York and Palm Beach.

My most important objective is to create rooms that are not only beautiful, but also livable and relevant to the way my clients lead their lives. My custom designs use new and existing pieces and mix styles, periods and price points to develop a distinctly elegant look that not only makes a statement but makes sense, too.
